Olympics

The Olympics are revered as a way for the world to come together and for humanity to show its stuff. But it also highlights the great hypocrisy that we all live in and that most are unaware. That the world is not what it seems in so many ways. We live in an age where Corporations and the very wealthy commit heinous crimes on humanity and on the environment for the sake of even more profit. For example in Bolivia the multinational corporation Bechtel, after Bolivia was forced to privatize their water by the IMF, took over the water supply and forced disgusting tactics upon the Bolivian people to increase their profits. They imposed consumer contracts that gave Bechtel the right to take possession of a citizens house if they did not pay their water bill. They bullied the government to out law the collection of rainwater so the Bolivians would have to pay for every drop they used. Understand this: it was illegal to collect rainwater even in a bucket. How would you feel if this law was imposed upon you in the USA? As is typical of large Corporations they bully and take from the poor who have not the means to fight back. The Bolivians protested in the streets against the unfair Bechtel corporation and the government, pressured into action unleashed the police force with lethal force. Many Bolivians died just to get the right to be able to afford water, and not pay more than a third of their income to drink water! [Referenced from:The Corporation DVD]

I digress,
The Olympics. Apart from it promoting competition which is actually an ugly attribute of humans and leads to violence and wars, the Olympic rings and the torch relay, and even the placement of Olympics athletes as revered people, are all Nazi inventions. But still, we bury our heads and believe in lies. It could be good that China has the Olympics. But do we remember what happened when they lost their bid for the previous Olympics? In the week following the decision they set of a nuclear bomb! A tantrum by a warped nuclear power. I do believe the Olympics have the power to make allegiances with hostile countries. But is this is what it is for? Perhaps. Perhaps if we gave the Olympics to Sadam, instead if killing him, things might have been different? Hmmm. Who is next? North Korea? Iran? maybe we should rename the games and call them the world peace games?

By the way, Alfred Nobel, who funded the Nobel peace prize so history would see him as a good guy, was an armaments manufacturer. He invented the most powerful explosive of his time, resposible for more deaths that ever before. Einstein compared him to those who invented the atomic bomb. And we give peace awards in his name, what a joke!**

If we, all of us become aware. If we seek the truth and don't bury our heads in the sand, WE, can make this wrong world right. WE have all the power. Without us the world comes to a stop. The Corporations come to a stop. WE are the masters, not the governments, not the corporations. If only all of us were awake.
**"Alfred Nobel invented an explosive more powerful than any then known -- an exceedingly effective means of destruction. To atone for this 'accomplishment' and to relieve his conscience, he instituted his award for the promotion of peace." Albert Einstein.
